Eufrate Commerce srl is a supplier of the Turkish Antep pistachios originating from southeastern Turkey, where due to the specific climate and growing conditions paired with the special pistachios of cultivars, the resulting pistachios are of an exceptionally high quality. Based in Milan, Italy, we represent our partner Şura Kuruyemiş in the commercialization of the premium pistachio and pistachio products mainly in Italy, where food meets art. The unique chemical composition of the Turkish antep pistachios leads to a product that can not be replicated with other origins, and we offer to our Italian and European clients a pistachio that is found nowhere else. Besides whole pistachio kernels and inshell pistachios, we supply semi-finished pistachio products such as pistachio granules, chopped pistachio, pistachio flour and pistachio pastes of various colors.
Our principal idea is to never offer a product that we ourselves would not enjoy eating. Instead, we want to present to the whole world the exceptional flavours of the fertie lands of Türkiye and we are proud to collaborate with our Italian partners. Our story begins on the banks of the Euphrates river in Türkiye, where the pistachio has been cultivated for milennia as proven by archeological research. In our farmlands on both sides of the Euphrates river, our forefathers have planted the pistachios trees centuries ago and we carry their legacy to our age with pride because pistachio is a fruit that requires dedication, attention to detail and patience. Our story continues in the beautiful country of Italy where food is art. Our Vision
Our name comes from the river Euphrates, the most important river of an ancient land. The waters of Euphrates have irrigated our pistachio and olive trees in Nizip, Gaziantep for millennia. Euphrates is born out of the cold, rocky mountains of eastern Anatolia, from where it flows to the docile, sunny Mediterranean plains of the Fertile Crescent. From the mountains where people have managed to survive against the forces of nature in order to live among the highest peaks comes the ice-cold water that allowed the first olive and Pistachio trees to be cultivated in this fertile crescent. We think of this majestic river to be our example in nurturing all sides of the commercialization of our pistachios. Where are the Pistachios sourced from?
Our pistachios are sourced from our long term producers in Nizip, Gaziantep where the Turkish pistachio has been harvested for centuries. The fertile Mediterranean soil around the Euphrates river bank provides our pistachios with the necessary nutrients which gives them their unique taste.
Can you guarantee for aflatoxin regulations?
Aflatoxins are the number one issue of our sector and a great threat to human health. We process our product from carefully sourced inshell pistachios which are tested for Aflatoxins. Upon clearance of the raw product, the inshell pistachio then goes through most up to date shelling and sorting technologies, preventing any contaminated kernels from accessing the final batch. We then conduct testing with official laboratories for all types of potential Aflatoxins such as Aflatoxin B group and C group, as well as Listeria, Salmonella and Ochratoxins.
